Biscotti - Tasty

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the expresso, the milk, yolk and the vanilla. Add this mixture to flour mixture beating until a dough is formed. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, knead it several times, and halve it. Form each half into a flat log 12 inches long and 2 inches wide. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
  4. Let cool for 10 minutes and reduce oven to 300 °. On a cutting board, cut the logs on a diagonal into 3/4 inch thick slices. Arrange the biscotti, cut sides down on the baking sheet and bake them for 12-15 minutes, or until they are a pale golden. Transfer the biscotti to racks to cool. Enjoy!
